Meredith Coleman McGee is the author of five books:
Nashida: Visits the Mississippi State Capitol, a children’s book, (Meredith Etc. 08/17/17);
Nashida: Visits the Smith Robertson Museum, (Meredith Etc. 06/05/16);
Odyssey (Meredith Etc. 10/25/13), a collection of her poems and other writings, James Meredith: Warrior and the America That Created Him (Praeger Publishing 03/21/13), a biography of her uncle, Civil Rights icon, James H. Meredith, and the co-author of Married to Sin (Mose Dantzler Press 01/06/13) and Casada al Pecado Spanish edition (05/02/2014), a memoir about Darlene D. Collier.

Her poetry is published in several anthologies: Virtues From The Heart and Timeless Voices. She is the lead author of My 1 to 5 Activity Book Vol. 1 and My A to G Activity Book Vol. 2 both of the My First Book Series affiliated with the Community Library Initiative of Jackson, MS.

Meredith Coleman McGee was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. She is a professional writer for Typing Solutions Résumés & Etc. www.typingsolutions.biz, and a contributing writer for the Jackson Advocate www. jacksonadvocateonline.com.

McGee is the publisher/acquisition editor of Meredith Etc., a small press www.meredithetc.com, and the blog administrator of www.shopheirs.com.
She was previously the acquisition editor at Mose Dantzler Press www.mosedpress.com, a community organizer for Southern Echo, a business developer for the Mississippi Association of Cooperatives, the assistant director of development at Voice of Calvary Ministries, a paralegal, and a convenience store owner.
