During the mid-1970s, just as American soul music reached its golden age, I entered the world in the City of Angels with a heart for song and a passion to perform. Soul music became a defining passion, when my love for this form first blossomed during early childhood, and was nurtured by my musician father and his fellow performers.  

Today I am pursuing my calling for music. My broad vocal range and stylistic fluency allows me to flow seamlessly, effortlessly vocalizing across a variety of forms from Gospel, Soul and Rock to Popular Contemporary styles. At the heart of my essence is a desire to share my musical gift with others.  Thriving in the moment – whether I’m gracing the stage at Harlem’s historic Apollo Theater or performing in an intimate Bay Area venue – I am energized by the emotional connection with my audience.
